About Your Presenter: Joy Lutz, CPA, owner and founder of Aligned CPA, LLC, is passionate about empowering entrepreneurs to build better leaders, smarter systems, and bigger results. Since starting her business in 2012, Joy has gained firsthand experience in the challenges and rewards of growing a business, making her uniquely equipped to help fellow business owners master the mindset, strategies, and operational excellence needed to thrive.

As a Certified Tax Planner with the American Institute of Certified Tax Planners, Joy combines financial expertise with strategic vision, earning accolades such as “40 Under 40” CPA in 2015, the Lake City-Columbia County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award in 2016, and the National Small Accounting Firm of the Year award from PASBA in 2025. Her proudest recognition, however, is being named the 2023 Employer of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce, a testament to her leadership and dedication to fostering a thriving team.

In addition to running her business, Joy is deeply committed to her community and has held leadership roles in organizations such as the Lake City Chamber of Commerce, Ronald McDonald House, and Altrusa International. Currently, she serves as a Board Member for PASBA, where she continues to share her expertise in building businesses that align with purpose and profitability.
