Job description:

We are looking for a dedicated full-time Billing Specialist to join our medical equipment team! Duties include answering phones, verifying insurance, processing orders, billing/collections, and providing great customer service.

Job duties will include - 

Answering phones calls from patients, Physicians, and Insurance companies.

Obtain required documents such as assignment of benefits, prescriptions, and prior authorizations.

Checking insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits.

Manage billing and collections for Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and private pay accounts.

Identify and escalate problems or delays that may impact timely claim processing.

Helping walk-in customers.

Assorted clerical duties.

Requirements:

• Medical billing/insurance experience preferred
• 1+ year office/clerical experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must pass background and drug screening
